Observation on Teacher

A. Planning for Teaching

Teachers should have to make lesson plan and prepare all the things needed, likes materials, instructional media, learning method, teaching strategy and others before teaching in the classroom.

 B. Preparing Lessons and Materials

The teacher have prepared the lesson and the materials to explain the lesson easily and clearly. Preparing lesson and materials is one of the important things to do before teaching in the classroom. On preparing lessons, my mentor gave me the material to teach. And their textbook have provided that materials. So it was easier for me to prepare the material because I just have to search more information about the materials from the other resource likes internet and the other books.

C. Teaching in Class

Teacher starts the lesson with ask the students to stand up and greeting for making student ready get the lesson. Before explain about next topic teacher will talk about rule teaching that time and ask students’ homework and check it together. Students paid attention to the teacher while she explaining about the topic matter. Teacher gives some examples and solve them together with the students. Teacher also gave the students an exercises to be done. While the students did their exercise they come to the teacher for asking what they did not understand, teacher will help them. In the class there is a good communicate between teacher and students. At the end of the lesson the teacher will give score for student’s homework and their exercises and doesn’t forget for giving the students’ homework.

D. Measurement and Evaluation

The teacher gave exercise during the lesson and gave  homework for the students in the end of the lesson on that day. There are some ways to measure students abilities on material comprehension.
